But we are so much more than that. While we are still growing at the moment, over time we aim to make sure that you have access to all the help and support you need whether that be help for the whole family to learn and grow, health & wellness needs that may fall outside of what health-care funds offer, work and employment related challenges, emergency response services, community news, and much more.
Ultimately, though, we exist to make sure we get to know and understand exactly what all people living in LA most need, uncover what services and support are missing, and find the right people and companies to supply that support. And we can only do that with your help.

First 5 LA, in partnership with others, strengthens families, communities, and systems of services and support so all children in LA County enter kindergarten ready to succeed in school and life. The focus on four results:
Result 1: Families have the resources, opportunities and relationships to optimize their child’s development.
Result 2: Children receive early and timely developmental supports and services.
Result 3: Children are safe from abuse, neglect and other trauma.
Result 4: Children have high-quality early care and education experiences.
COVID-19 is here to stay and we all need to stay informed and protected. The Public Health department keeps a constanly updated website filled with useful information such as
park closures and confirmed cases of COVID-19. Their GIS tools and dashboards map Los Angeles County's response to the pandemic.

The LA Connected platform is currently invite-only and private to "beta" members. This will be a small group of local L.A. residents and organization leaders before we open it up to the broader L.A. community.
